REPUBLIC ACT No. 9553 April 17, 2009
AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN INTEGRATED NATIONAL SCHOOL IN BARANGAY BUHATAN, CITY OF SORSOGON, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON TO BE KNOWN AS BUHATAN INTEGRATED NATIONAL SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representative of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Establishment of an Integrated National School
There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, an integrated national school in Barangay Buhatan, City of Sorsogon, Province of Sorsogon to be known as Buhatan Integrated National School.
Section 2. Appropriations
The Secretary of Education shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of Buhatan Integrated National School, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3. Implementation
The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
Section 4. Effectivity
This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 12, 2008 and January 21, 2009, respectively.
