REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9096 April 08, 2001
AN ACT CONVERTING THE SAN JUAN COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL AT SAN JUAN, MUNICIPALITY OF BAYUGAN, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL SUR INTO A NATIONAL GOVERNMENT-FUNDED SECONDARY SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SAN JUAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The San Juan Community High School at San Juan, Municipality of Bayugan, Province of Agusan del Sur is hereby converted into a regular secondary school under the control and supervision of the national government through the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.
Section 2
This school shall be known officially as the San Juan National High School.
Section 3
All records, personnel, assets and liabilities of the San Juan Community High School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the San Juan National High School.
Section 4
The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 5
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 22, 2000 and February 5, 2001, respectively.
