REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9030 March 05, 2001

AN ACT RENAMING THE ASINGAN-STA. MARIA BRIDGE IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF ASINGAN AND STA. MARIA IN THE PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN AS THE NARCISO RAMOS BRIDGE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Asingan-Sta

Maria Bridge connecting the municipalities of Asingan and Sta. Maria in the Province of Pangasinan is hereby renamed Narciso Ramos Bridge in honor of the late Narciso Ramos as a fitting tribute to a life devoted to public service, for his invaluable contributions to nation-building, and for his inspiring leadership and exemplary statesmanship worthy of admiration and emulation by the present and future generations of Filipinos.

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which is a consolidation of House Bill No. 9885 and Senate Bill No. 2255 was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 8, 2001.
