[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8908, August 22, 2000 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SECONDARY SCHOOL IN BARANGAY LOWER BALA, MUNICIPALITY OF MAGSAYSAY, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL SUR TO BE KNOWN AS THE LOWER BALA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
A secondary school in Barangay Lower Bala, Municipality of Magsaysay, Province of Davao del Sur shall be established under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports to be known as the Lower Bala National High School.
Section 2
The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on September 14, 1999 and May 22, 2000, respectively.
