[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8821, August 22, 2000 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY STA. ANA, MUNICIPALITY OF LA PAZ, PROVINCE OF LEYTE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. There is hereby established a national high school at Barangay Sta
Ana, Municipality of La Paz, Province of Leyte, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.
Section 2
The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 18, 1999 and June 8, 2000, respectively.
