[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8815, August 21, 2000 ]

AN ACT INCLUDING THE CITY OF ANGELES IN THE COVERAGE OF THE JOSE ABAD SANTOS DAY, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SEVENTY-FIVE FIFTY-TWO AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

Section 1 of Republic Act Numbered Seventy-five fifty-two is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Section 1. May seven of every year is hereby declared as a special nonworking holiday in the Province of Pampanga and the City of Angeles to be known as the Jose Abad Santos Day."

Section 2

Effectivity.*- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days from its publication in theOfficial Gazetteor in at least two (2) newspapers of national circulation.
