[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8809, August 16, 2000 ]
AN ACT FIXING THE SITE OF THE PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL LANAO DEL NORTE CAMPUS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALO-I, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL NORTE, HEREBY AMENDING FOR THIS PURPOSE SECTION 4 (A) OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8461
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
Section 4 (a) of Republic Act No.8461 is hereby amended to grant the Philippine Science High School Board of Trustees the necessary power and duty to fix the site of the Philippine Science High School Lanao del Norte Campus. Such an amendment shall read as follows:
"SEC. 4 (a). To fix the site of the PSHSLNC in the Municipality of Balo-i, Lanao del Norte;
Section 2
Rules and Regulations.* The Department of Science and Technology shall issue the necessary rules and regulations to effectively carry out the effective implementation of this Act.
Section 3
Repealing Clause.* All laws, decrees, presidential issuances, rules and regulations, or parts thereof, which are inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
Section 4
Effectivity.* This Act shall take effect upon its approval and completion of publication in at least two (2) national newspapers of general circulation.
