AN ACT CONVERTING THE MAMBAJAO NIGHT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL INTO THE CAMIGUIN SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADE, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The Mambajao Night National High School in Camiguin is hereby converted into Camiguin School of Arts and Trade.
Section 2
The school shall primarily provide vocational and technical education following the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-prescribed vocational high school curriculum in order to produce graduates with employable skills.
Section 3
The TESDA is hereby directed to carry out the purposes of this Act.
Section 4
The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Mambajao Night National High School. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operations and maintenance of the Camiguin School of Arts and Trade shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 5
All laws, presidential decrees, executive orders, rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly.
Section 6
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
