[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8393, November 22, 1997 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE PILI HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY PILI, MUNICIPALITY OF MAGALLANES, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON, AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

There shall be established a Pili High School in Barangay Pili, Municipality of Magallanes, Province of Sorsogon, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.

Section 2

The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Approved, Lapsed into law on November 22, 1997, without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
