[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8389, November 22, 1997 ]

AN ACT CREATING THE KALAYAAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF PASAY, METRO MANILA, PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

There shall be a Pasay City Kalayaan National High School to be located at Barangay 183 in the City of Pasay, Metro Manila, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.

Section 2

The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Approved, Lapsed into law on November 22, 1997, without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
