AN ACT SEPARATING THE MARILOG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX LOCATED IN BARANGAY BUDA FROM THE MARILOG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, BOTH IN MARILOG DISTRICT, DAVAO CITY, AND CONVERTING IT INTO A SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE BUDA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The Marilog National High School Annex located in Barangay Buda, Marilog District, Davao City, is hereby separated from the Marilog National High School, also of the same city and converted into a separate and independent national high school to be known as the Buda National High School.
Section 2
The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
Section 3
The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Marilog National High School - Barangay Buda Annex. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the Buda National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Approved, Lapsed into law on November 22, 1997, without the signature President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
