AN ACT CONVERTING THE LAS PIAS NORTH MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY PULANGLUPA II, MUNICIPALITY OF LAS PIAS, METRO MANILA, INTO AN INDEPENDENT HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LAS PIAS NORTH NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The Las Pias North Municipal High School in Barangay Pulanglupa II, Las Pias, Metro Manila, shall be converted into an independent high school to be known as the Las Pias North National High School.
Section 2
All the assets, movable and immovable, records and personnel of the Las Pias North Municipal High School, as well its liabilities or obligations, are hereby transferred to the Las Pias North National High School: Provided, however, That the positions, rights and security of tenure of personnel therein employed under existing laws are not impaired.
Section 3
The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Approved, Lapsed into law on March 3, 1997, without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
