[ REPUBLIC ACT No. 8058, June 15, 1995 ]

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION TWO OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 260, AS AMENDED, DECLARING AS HISTORICAL LANDMARK ALL ANCESTRAL HOUSES ALONG RIZAL STREET, SILAY CITY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

Section 2 of Presidential Decree No. 260, as amended, is hereby further amended to include as historical landmark all ancestral houses along Rizal Street, Silay City, Negros Occidental.

Section 2

The executive director and/or chairman of the National Historical Institute shall implement the provisions of this Act.

Section 3

All laws, decrees, orders, rules and regulations and other issuances or parts thereof inconsistent with this Act shall be repealed or amended accordingly.

Section 4

This Act shall take effect upon approval.

Lapsed into law on June 15, 1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
