AN ACT DECLARING JUNE 13 OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LASAM, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, TO BE KNOWN AS"ALDAW TI LASAM"

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The Municipality of Lasam was declared an independent municipality by virtue of Republic Act No. 507 signed on June 13, 1950 by President Elpidio Quirino.

Section 2

June 13 of every year is hereby declared as a special nonworking holiday in the Municipality of Lasam, Province of Cagayan, to be known as"Aldaw ti Lasam."

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Lapsed into law on August 8, 1994 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
