REPUBLIC ACT No. 6980 April 18, 1991

AN ACT RENEWING THE FRANCHISE GRANTED TO THE RADIO MINDANAO NETWORK, INC. UNDER REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-TWO TO ANOTHER TWENTY-FIVE (25) YEARS FROM THE DATE OF APPROVAL OF THIS ACT

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The franchise granted to the Radio Mindanao Network, Inc

under Republic Act No. 3122 is hereby renewed to another twenty-five (25) years from the date of approval of this Act.

Section 2

Subject to the provisions of Section 24 (c) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and the provisions of Executive Order No. 72, all other provisions, terms and conditions contained in Republic Act No. 3122 are hereby made integral parts of this Act.

Section 3

In addition to the terms and conditions of the franchise as provided in Republic Act No. 3122, the radio Mindanao Network, Inc. shall submit an annual report of its operations to the Congress of the Republic of the Philippines.

Section 4

The franchise herein granted shall be subject to amendment, alteration, or repeal by the Congress when the common good so requires.

Section 5

The herein grantee shall comply with and be subject to the provisions of a general broadcast policy law that may hereafter be enacted.

Section 6

This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
