REPUBLIC ACT No. 6974 December 8, 1990

AN ACT RESTORING THE NAME OF "NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL OF THE PHILIPPINES," AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE PARAGRAPH (a), SECTION 33 OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 128

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

Paragraph (a), Section 33 of Executive Order No. 128 dated January 30, 1987 is hereby amended to read as follows:

(a)National Research Council of the Philippines as created under Act 4120 of the Ninth Philippines Legislature." Section 2. All references to the name "Philippine National Science Society" shall be understood as referring to the National Research Council of the Philippines pursuant to the provisions of this Act.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
