AN ACT CREATING THE AURORA NATIONAL SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL BY SEPARATING THE AURORA SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL FROM THE AURORA PROVINCIAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The Aurora Science High School located in the Poblacion of Baler, which is a branch of the Aurora Provincial High School located in Barangay Reserva, Baler, Aurora, is hereby separated from the said provincial high school and thereafter created as an independent educational institution to be known as the Aurora National Science High School.

Section 2

All properties and assets presently pertaining or belonging to the Aurora Science High School are hereby transferred to the newly created Aurora National Science High School.

Section 3

The funding requirement for the operation of the Aurora National Science High School shall be charged to the appropriations for the current fiscal year of the Aurora Science High School. Thereafter, such amount as may be necessary for the implementation of this Act is hereby authorized to be appropriated in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law.

Section 4

The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall make the necessary directive to effect the separation of the Aurora Science High School from the Aurora Provincial High School, as well as to bring about the smooth operation of the Aurora National Science High School under this Act.

Section 5

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
