[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6602, October 23, 1972 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION RESEARCH AND DEMONSTRATION CENTER IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NAUJAN PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MINDORO, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established a soil and water conservation research and demonstration center in the Municipality of Naujan, Province of Oriental Mindoro. The said center shall be under the supervision of the Director of Soils and shall be subject to the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Six hundred sixty-two, as amended.
Section 2
The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the research and demonstration center for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and seventy-two. Thereafter, such sums as be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
