[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6588, September 30, 1972 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY IN THE PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL OF SAMAR SITUATED IN CATBALOGAN, PROVINCE OF SAMAR, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established a school of nursing and midwifery in the Provincial Hospital of Samar situated in Catbalogan, Province of Samar. Said school shall be under the supervision of the Director of Medical Services.
Section 2
The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy-two. There after such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
