[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6555, September 30, 1972 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANTA, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, an emergency hospital in the Municipality of Santa, Province of Ilocos Sur, to be known as Santa Emergency Hospital.
Section 2
This hospital shall have a bed capacity of not less than ten nor more than twenty-five beds.
Section 3
The Secretary of Health shall cause the establishment of this hospital, provide it with suitable table of organization of not more than twenty-five personnel and Promulgate rules and regulations for its maintenance and operation.
Section 4
The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy and seventy-one. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 5
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
