[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6509, July 01, 1972 ]
AN ACT AMENDING SECTION ONE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FORTY HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE, ENTITLED "AN ACT CONVERTING THE NUEVA VIZCAYA NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYOMBONG, PROVINCE OF NUEVA VIZCAYA, INTO A COLLEGE TO BE KNOWN AS NUEVA VIZCAYA AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR."
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
Section one of Republic Act Numbered Forty hundred fifty-five is hereby amended to read as follows.
"Section l. The Nueva Vizcaya National Agricultural School in the Municipality of Bayombong, Province of Nueva Vizcaya, is hereby converted into a college to be known as Nueva Vizcaya Agricultural College. The Santa Cruz Community School in the Municipality of Kayapa, the Sta. Fe Community High School in the Municipality of Bayombong, all in the Province of Nueva Vizcaya are hereby converted into branches, secondary level, of the Nueva Vizcaya National Agricultural College."
Section 2
In addition to the amount already appropriated for the Nueva Vizcaya National Agricultural College the amount of three hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated annually out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated which shall be included in the General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
The Budget Commissioner shall release all the unprogrammed appropriations for the Nueva Vizcaya, Agricultural College for the fiscal years 1972 and 1973. to accelerate expansion and conversion as provided in Section one hereof.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
