[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6500, June 17, 1972 ]

AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF PLACER EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PLACER, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The bed capacity of Placer Emergency Hospital in the Municipality of Placer, Province of Surigao del Norte, is hereby increased to fifty beds.

Section 2

The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purpose of this Act during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and seventy-three. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
