[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6480, June 17, 1972 ]

AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF SURIGAO DEL SUR PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TANDAG, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL SUR, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The bed capacity of Surigao del Sur Provincial Hospital in the Municipality of Tandag, Province of Surigao del Sur, is hereby increased to seventy-five beds.

Section 2

The necessary sums for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3

In addition, the sum of five hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the construction of the buildings and the acquisition of fixtures and equipment.

Section 4

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
