[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6313, June 19, 1971 ]
AN ACT CONVERTING JANIUAY NATIONAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS JANIUAY NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representative of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The Janiuay National Vocational High School, in the Municipality of Janiuay, Province of Iloilo is hereby converted into a national comprehensive high school to be known as the Janiuay National Comprehensive High School. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize the said school accordingly.
Section 2
Upon organization of the Janiuay National Comprehensive High School, the personnel, equipment and records of the Janiuay National Vocational High School shall be transferred to the said national comprehensive high school.
Section 3
The present appropriation for the Janiuay National Vocational High School shall likewise be transferred to the said national comprehensive high school. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
