[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6253, June 19, 1971 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING THE CEBU SOUTH NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE PROVINCE OF CEBU, INTO A NATIONAL AGRO-INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE CEBU SOUTHERN AGRO-INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The Cebu South National High School in the Province of Cebu, is hereby converted into a national agro-industrial school to be known as the Cebu Southern Agro-Industrial School.

Section 2

The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.

Section 3

The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the conversion, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy-two. Thereafter, sums as may be needed in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
