[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6104, August 04, 1969 ]
AN ACT INCREASING THE MONTHLY BASE PAY OF SOLDIERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
Section four of Republic Act Numbered Eighteen hundred thirty-one, otherwise known as the "Enlisted Men's Pay and Allowance Act of nineteen hundred fifty-seven, as amended by Republic Act Numbered Thirty-four hundred and sixty, is further amended to read as follows:
"Section 4. The monthly base pay of enlisted personnel of the Regular Force shall not be less than the following:
| "(a) E-7 | (₱175.00) - ₱260.00 |

| "(b) E-6 | (165.00) - 240.00 |
| "(c) E-5 | (155.00) - 220.00 |
| "(d) E-4 | (145.00) - 205.00 |
| "(e) E-3 | (140.00) - 195.00 |
| "(f) E-2 | (135.00) - 185.00 |
| (g) E-l | (130.00) - 180.00" |
Section 2
There is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of fifty million pesos or so much thereof as may be necessary to implement the provisions of this Act for the fiscal year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and seventy. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
