[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6071, August 04, 1969 ] AN ACT GRANTING THE GOVERNING BOARDS OF ALL STATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES AUTHORITY TO FIX THE SALARIES AND COMPENSATION OF THEIR FACULTY AND EMPLOYEES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The governing boards of all state colleges and universities are hereby authorized to fix the salaries and compensation of their faculties and administrative officers and employees, all laws and executive orders to the contrary notwithstanding:*Provided,*That such salaries and compensation shall be comparable with those of similar educational institutions of like enrollment and standing.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
