[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5938, June 21, 1969 ]
AN ACT DECLARING A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN BARRIO MAGALLANES, BUTUAN CITY, AS BARRIO SITE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The following parcel of land is hereby declared as barrio site of Barrio Magallanes, Butuan City:
Corner (1)&mdashstarting from junction of Cabog Big Creek following Bails' River upstream, generally North about 1,180 meters;
(2)then following Banza River upstream generally Southeast about 1,440 meters;(3)then following Banza River upstream generally South about 930 meters;(4)then S. 37 W-410 meters;(5)then S. 40 W-90 meters;(6)then N. 79 W-500 meters;(7)then following Cabog Big Creek downstream generally Northwest about 1,000 meters to Corner 1, point of beginning; containing an area of 232 hectares more or less.
Section 2
The Director of Forestry is hereby directed to survey the said parcel of land and to release the same to the Bureau of Lands for disposition under the provision of the Act.
Section 3
The Director of Lands is hereby directed to release said parcel of land to the barrio of Magallanes, Butuan City, in accordance with the provisions of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred forty-one, as amended, otherwise known as Public Land Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
