[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5918, June 21, 1969 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES TO BE KNOWN AS BENGUET SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES IN THE PROVINCE OF BENGUET AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
There is hereby established a national school of arts and trades and to be established in the barrio of Daclan, Municipality of Bukod, Province of Benguet.
Section 2
The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to organize the said school and to acquire by purchase, through grant or donation the school site,
Section 3
The sum of five hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the acquisition of a school site, operation and maintenance of the said school during the school year nineteen hundred and sixty-nine to nineteen hundred seventy. Thereafter, the necessary funds for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
