[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5899, June 21, 1969 ]
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A MARINE FISHERIES EXPERIMENTAL STATION IN BARRIO LO-OC, MUNICIPALITY OF ARGAO, PROVINCE OF CEBU, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established and maintained, under the supervision of the Commissioner of Fisheries, a marine fisheries experimental station at Barrio Lo-oc, Municipality of Argao, Province of Cebu.
Section 2
The Commissioner of' Fisheries is hereby authorized to set aside out of any unallotted balance of the receipts of Act Numbered Four thousand three, as amended, and/or any savings therefrom, the amount of eighty thousand pesos to carry out the purposes of this Act during the fiscal year ending nineteen hundred and seventy. Thereafter, such sums for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
