[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5886, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT CONVERTING BENGUET VOCATIONAL SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KAPANGAN, PROVINCE OF BENGUET INTO AN AGRO-INDUSTRIAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS BA-LAKBAK AGRO-INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled.
Section 1
The Benguet Vocational School in the Municipality of Kapangan, Province of Benguet is hereby converted into an agricultural-industrial high school and shall be known as Balakbak Agro-Industrial School effective upon availability of funds.
Section 2
The Director of Vocational Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
Section 3
The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to effect and implement the said conversion during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-seven. Thereafter, the necessary sum for the operation and maintenance of the said school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
