[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5865, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FORTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-EIGHT, ENTITLED "AN ACT CREATING THE MUNICIPALITY OF KALILANGAN IN THE PROVINCE OF BUK1DNON." Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
Section one of Republic Act Numbered Forty-seven hundred eighty-eight is amended to read as follows:
Section 1. Barrios Lampanosan, Macatol, Macaopao, Sabang, Kalilangan, Boribod, Pamutohan, Kabaning, Malinao, Imbariz, Kibaritan, Mayohay and all the sitios east of the western boundary of the Province of Bukidnon at the Maradugao River located within or surrounded by the said barrios and all of which barrios and sitios are presently within the Municipality of Pangantucan, Province of Bukidnon, are hereby separated from said municipality and constituted into a distinct and independent municipality, with the seat of government in the present site of Barrio Kalilangan. The new municipality shall be known as the Municipality of Kalilangan, same Province.
Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
