[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5784, June 21, 1969 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SCHOOL OF FISHERIES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TOLOSA, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE DANIEL Z. ROMUALDEZ MEMORIAL SCHOOL OF FISHERIES AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established a school of fisheries in the Municipality of Tolosa, Province of Leyte, to be known as Daniel Z. Romualdez Memorial School of Fisheries.
Section 2
The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
Section 3
The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-nine, including the purchase of site. Thereafter, yearly outlay necessary for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
