[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5754, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT CONSTITUTING THE FIRST AND SECOND REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICTS OF THE PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN INTO A SEPARATE SCHOOL DIVISION AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The first and second representative districts of the Province of Pangasinan shall constitute one separate school division. The new school division shall have one division superintendent of schools and such other personnel who shall be appointed in accordance with existing laws and regulations. The permanent station of the superintendent of schools for the new division shall be in the Municipality of Lingayen, same province.
Section 2
The sum of fifty thousand pesos is authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purpose of this Act during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
All Acts, executive orders, rules and regulations otherwise inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly.
Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
