[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5746, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT ESTABLISHING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ILAGAN, PROVINCE OF ISABELA, A SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DEMONSTRATION STATION TO BE KNOWN AS CAGAYAN VALLEY SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DEMONSTRATION STATION AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: Section 1. There shall be established in the Municipality of llagan, Province of Isabela, a soil and water conservation demonstration station to be known as Cagayan Valley Soil and Water Conservation Demonstration Station. The said station shall be under the supervision of the Director of Soils and shall be subject to the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Six hundred twenty-two. Section 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said conservation demonstration station for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and seventy. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
