[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5693, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CATEEL, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL, TO BE KNOWN AS CATEEL NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
There is hereby established a national agricultural high school in the Municipality of Cateel, Province of Davao Oriental, to be known as Cateel Agricultural High School.
Section 2
The Director of Vocational Education is hereby empowered to organize said school. He may locate or acquire, or cause to be located or acquired, any suitable site in the Municipality of Cateel, Province of Davao Oriental, after previous consultation with the Director of the Bureau of Forestry, the Director of the Bureau of Lands, and the Provincial Governor.
Section 3
The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of said school during the school year commencing in nineteen hundred seventy. Thereafter, the necessary funds for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
