[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5657, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT CONVERTING THE RURAL HEALTH CENTER IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KORONADAL, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO, INTO A GENERAL HOSPITAL, TO BE KNOWN AS KORONADAL GENERAL HOSPITAL AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The rural health center in the Municipality of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato, is hereby converted into the Koronadal General Hospital with fifty hospital beds.
Section 2
The Secretary of Health shall issue the rules and regulations for the implementation of this Act.
Section 3
The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
