[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5639, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FRESH WATER FISH CULTURE FARM IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BURAUEN, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: Section 1. There shall be established under the supervision of the Commissioner of Fisheries a fresh water fish culture farm in the Municipality of Burauen, Province of Leyte, to be known as the Burauen Fresh Water Fish Culture Farm. Section 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said fish culture farm. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
