[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5638, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A SHRIMP CULTURE FARM AND DEMONSTRATION STATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LEYTE, PROVINCE, OF LEYTE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

There shall be established and maintained, under the supervision of the Fisheries Commissioner, a shrimp culture farm and demonstration station in the Municipality of Leyte, Province of Leyte.

Section 2

The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry into effect the purposes of this Act for the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy. Thereafter, the necessary amount for the purpose shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of each year.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
