[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5553, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A HOSPITAL IN THE SUB-PROVINCE OF QUIRINO, NUEVA VIZCAYA, TO BE KNOWN AS THE QUIRINO SUB-PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

There shall be establish under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, a hospital in the Sub-province of Quirino, Province of Nueva Vizcaya, to be known as the Quirino Sub-Provincial Hospital. The site of said hospital, to be determined by the Secretary of Health or his representative, shall be in the subcapital of the Sub-Province.

Section 2

The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and seventy. Thereafter, such sums as may, be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
