[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5493, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT CREATING TWO ADDITIONAL POSITIONS OF ASSISTANT PROVINCIAL FISCAL IN THE PROVINCE OF CATANDUANES, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION SIXTEEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-FOUR OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AS AMENDED. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The provision of Section sixteen hundred seventy-four of the Administrative Code, as amended, relative to the number of assistant provincial fiscals in the Province of Catanduanes, is further amended to read as follows : "Catanduanes, three assistant provincial fiscals;"

Section 2

There is hereby authorized to be appropriated, of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such sum as may be necessary to pay the share of the National Government for the positions provided for in this Act for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-nine. Appropriations for the succeeding fiscal years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
