[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5481, June 21, 1969 ] AN ACT PROVIDING TWO POSITIONS OF ASSISTANT CITY FISCAL FOR THE CITY OF DAPITAN, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION SEVENTY-TWO OF THE CHARTER OF SAID CITY. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The first paragraph of Section seventy-two of Republic Act Numbered Thirty-eight hundred-eleven, otherwise known as the Charter of the City of Dapitan, is amended to read as follows:
Section 72.The City Fiscal, his assistants, his duties There shall be a city fiscal who shall be the chief of the law department of the city and two assistant city fiscals, who shall discharge their duties under the general supervision of the Secretary of Justice. The city fiscal and his assistants shall receive the salaries provided for under existing laws. The city fiscal shall be the legal adviser of the city and all offices and departments thereof. He shall have the following powers and duties:
Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval
