[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5456, March 27, 1969 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CATTLE BREEDING STATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALANGKAYAN, PROVINCE OF SAMAR, AND AUTHOR­IZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

There is hereby established a cattle breeding station in the Municipality of Balangkayan, Province of Samar, under the supervision of the Director of Animal Industry.

Section 2

The Director of Animal Industry shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.

Section 3

The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the Na­tional Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the estab­lishment, operation and maintenance of said station for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and main­tenance shall be included in the annual General Appro­priations Act.

Section 4

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
