REPUBLIC ACT No. 5413
An Act Converting the Misamis Occidental High School in the Province of Misamis Occidental, into a National High School to be Known as Misamis Occidental National High School and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
The Misamis Occidental High School in the Province of Misamis Occidental, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as Misamis Occidental National High School. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize the said school accordingly.
Section 2
Upon organization of the Misamis Occidental National High School, the personnel, equipment and records of the Misamis Occidental High School shall be transferred to the said national school.
Section 3
The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of the said school in addition to its matriculation and tuition fees and other revenues.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
