[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 533, June 16, 1950 ]
AN ACT TO CONVERT THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABUK, SUB-PROVINCE OF KALINGA, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, INTO A REGULAR MUNICIPALITY TO BE KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPALITY OF TABUK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1
The municipal district of Tabuk, Sub-province of Kalinga, Mountain Province, is hereby converted into a new municipality to be known as the municipality of Tabuk.
Section 2
The present incumbent municipal district mayor, vice-mayor and councilors shall continue as such officials of the new municipality with the powers and duties of the same in regular municipalities and shall hold office until their successors shall have been elected and have qualified.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
