REPUBLIC ACT No. 5256

An Act Establishing, Organizing and Maintaining a National Agricultural High School in the Municipality of Mainit, Province of Surigao del Norte, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The Secretary of Education is hereby authorized to establish, organize and maintain a national agricultural high school in the Municipality of Mainit, Province of Surigao del Norte.

Section 2

The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said school for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-nine. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
