REPUBLIC ACT No. 5238
An Act Providing for the Establishment of a Maternity and Childrens Hospital in the Municipality of Marcos, Province of Ilocos Norte, to be Known as Marcos Maternity and Childrens Hospital, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, a maternity and children's hospital in the Municipality of Marcos, Province of Ilocos Norte, to be known as Marcos Maternity and Children's Hospital.
Section 2
The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
