REPUBLIC ACT No. 5206
An Act to Establish Relative Standing and Precedence in Seniority Between Officers in the Regular Force and Officers in the Reserve Force of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and for that Purpose to Amend Section 22, Paragraph (e) of Commonwealth Act Numbered One, as Amended
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
Section 22, paragraph (e) of Commonwealth Act Numbered One, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
> "(e) In determining the relative standing and precedence in seniority between officers of the regular force and officers of the reserved force of the Armed Forces of the Philippines of the same permanent grade, the officers with the longer active commissioned service in that permanent grade shall be the senior, and in cases of the same active commissioned service in permanent grade, the officer with the longer accumulated active commissioned service in the Armed Forces of the Philippines shall be the senior, and in cases not covered by the foregoing, the Secretary of National Defense shall determine the relative seniority of officers concerned."
Section 2
All Acts, executive orders, Armed Forces of the Philippines regulations, or parts or portions thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed or modified.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
