REPUBLIC ACT No. 5045
An Act Authorizing the City Council of Tagaytay City to Install, Construct, Erect and Manage an Aerial Ropeway Cable Car Service, Amending for the Purpose Section Fourteen of Commonwealth Act Numbered Three Hundred Thirty Eight
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
Section fourteen of Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred thirty-eight, otherwise known as the "Charter of the City of Tagaytay," is hereby amended by inserting between subsections (jj) and (kk) a new subsection to be known as Subsection (jj-1) and which shall read as follows:
> "(JJ-1) to install, construct, erect and manage an aerial ropeway cableway service from any point or points from the ridge of the City of Tagaytay down to the shores of Lake Taal and for this purpose: (a) to purchase equipment and machineries free from custom duties and other taxes and fees directly related to the purchase or importation thereof, and (b) to establish a wireless and telegram system in connection with the operation of said aerial ropeway cable car service."
Section 2
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
