REPUBLIC ACT No. 4942
An Act Establishing a Maternity and Childrens Hospital in the Municipality Balaoan, Province of La Union, to be Known as Northern La Union Maternity and Childrens Hospital, and Appropriating Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Health, a maternity and childrens hospital in the Municipality of Balaoan, Province of La Union, to be known as Northern La Union Maternity and Childrens Hospital.
Section 2
The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, the amount not less than five hundred thousand pesos, or such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance, shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
